Vadim Ovchinnikov, CFA, CPA

Mr. Ovchinnikov is a Managing Director at Alfa Energy Advisors. Vadim has over 20 years of professional experience in project finance, tax equity structuring, capital raise, and mergers & acquisitions. He has assisted numerous clients in the power sector (solar, wind, fuel cells, gas, geothermal and hydro) and actively works with project developers, utilities, investors, and corporate clients. Vadim possesses deep expertise in renewable energy financing, has been quoted by leading industry publications and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.

Prior to Alfa Energy Advisors, Vadim was a Managing Director at Chicago Advisory Group providing financial advisory services to clients in the energy and banking sectors. His prior experience includes working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group in Europe and PwC's Investment and Capital Markets Group in Chicago focusing on serving clients in the banking industry. Vadim started his career at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) where he was a member of the Derivatives Implementation Team and the Financial Instruments Team.

Vadim received a Master's degree (Magna Cum Laude) and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and Professional Accounting from Brigham Young University. He is a CFA charterholder, a licensed CPA and a member of the CFA Institute and the AICPA.

Gintaras Sadauskas

Mr. Sadauskas is a Managing Director at Alfa Energy Advisors. Gintaras provides financial and commercial advice relating to development, financing, purchase and sale of power generation assets (solar, wind, fuel cells, gas, hydro, geothermal and coal). During the past 20 years, he has been involved in numerous portfolio transactions and project financings, including tax equity structuring of wind and solar projects.

Prior to joining Alfa Energy Advisors, Gintaras worked in the project finance and M&A groups at the AES Corporation headquarters. He participated in multiple acquisitions and structured project financings in the US and internationally. Prior to AES, Gintaras worked in the Financial Advisory Services Group at KPMG in Europe.

Mr. Sadauskas received an MBA degree from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia and M.Sc. in International Management from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland.

Advisory Board

Michael Van Vleck

Mr. Van Vleck has 25 years of experience in private equity, project development/finance and general management in the renewable energy, clean tech and health sectors. Mr. Van Vleck is currently a Founding Managing Director of GGE Investments, a clean tech investment and development company, and advises various companies in clean tech. Prior to that, Mr. Van Vleck was a Founding Managing Partner of GeoGlobal Energy, LLC, a $300 million geothermal energy development company that originated, developed, built and operated utility-scale geothermal energy projects worldwide. He has served as CEO for various portfolio companies and directed the investment activities for private equity funds focused on infrastructure opportunities in Africa, Latin America and Asia. Mr. Van Vleck has served or is serving on the boards of various companies, including Voxiva, Wave, Alfa Energy Advisors, Phyto-Riker and the Gates/Brookings Global Health Initiative. Mr. Van Vleck has an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.


Bill Rever

Mr. Rever serves on the Advisory Board at Alfa Energy Advisors, LLC. Mr. Rever is an accomplished executive with over 30 years of experience in the renewable energy industry with a broad client base both in the United States and internationally.

Mr. Rever began his career in solar energy in 1982 with industry pioneer Solarex, which eventually merged with and became part of British Petroleum Solar in 1999. Bill held a variety of roles within BP Solar, including project management, product management, business development, marketing, applications engineering and strategy. In his tenure with BP Solar and Solarex, Bill was involved in the production, marketing, and deployment of over 1,000 MW of PV in over 50 countries including many seminal applications, product innovations and projects. With three decades of experience in PV, Mr. Rever is frequently called on as an industry expert and has spoken at numerous conferences and events.

Bill has a B.A. in Physics from the Johns Hopkins University, an M.S.E. in Energy Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Sigma Pi Sigma Physics Honor Society and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). Mr. Rever is a former board member and past President of the Maryland/DC/Virginia chapter of the Solar Energy Industries Association and a board member and former Co-Chairman of the PV Group of the North American Semiconductor Industry Association (SEMI).


Jay Dunn

Mr. Dunn has over 25 years of experience identifying, structuring and managing international equity and debt transactions. Mr. Dunn is a Founding Managing Director for GGE Investments LLC, a clean tech investment and development company. Prior to GGE Investments, Mr. Dunn was a Managing Director for GeoGlobal Energy LLC, a $300mm geothermal energy Facility that originated, developed, built and operated utility-scale geothermal energy projects worldwide. Mr. Dunn was responsible for project development and management of GGE's greenfield projects in the US and Chile, and also originated and closed GGE's investment in the $400M 50MW Hudson Ranch geothermal project which included tax equity financing. Prior to GGE, Mr. Dunn was also a co-founder and Managing Director of the Latin Healthcare Facility, a private equity investment group that invested in private healthcare companies in Latin America and the U.S. Mr. Dunn served as Senior Investment Officer at Global Environment Facility where he managed the investment program for Latin America, and as a Banking Officer at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in the Trade Finance Group.

Mr. Dunn received an M.A. (with Honors) in Latin American Studies and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. (Magna Cum Laude) from Middlebury College.
